Friendship

Through our lives, we go through many “best friends”. There are those we believe will be friends forever, and yet, as time goes by the distance also grows. As kids we never really understand that. And even now, we hope that the friends we make will always be as close as those days when we’d hang out everyday, when we would share our most intimate secrets. And yet, as you look back, those that were once so close, you’ve rarely spoken to in ages. Facing a rather major change, there’s a nagging fear that those precious friends that I have grown to know so well here, will once again, turn into bittersweet memories.

“Copper, you’re my very best friend

And you’re mine too Tod

We’ll always be friends forever, won’t we?

Yeah, forever”
