Hot congee on a Cold morning

I rarely crave porridge, but the cold morning was really begging for some hot steamy porridge. The sets included a porridge, radish cake or 炸倆, and a cup of cold soybean milk. Soybean milk was nice, if I had not wanted hot food so desperately. The radish cake was steamed and a little too sloppy for my liking. The congee was great, but once again, I’m not a fan of the minced meat they use. Next time, I’ll try ordering separate plain congee ($7) and 炸兩($7), much cheaper!! ;D
